Swimming Pool Update

June 25, 2020

We are almost ready to open the pool!  As of today, we can open during Phase 4 BUT only once Illinois Department of Public Health release the guidelines we need to follow.  Two days after they are released, we will be able to open.  Hopefully that will be soon.

We are fine tuning the online reservation system and you will get detailed instructions on how to set up your account and make reservations soon.

One thing that everyone needs to do is sign a Waiver that states you are aware of the risks you take in using all of our recreational facilities during this pandemic.  This must be done before you will be allowed to enter the pool area.  Please see the information below on when you can come to clubhouse to do this.  You can print the Waiver that is attached and drop it off in the mail slot at the clubhouse or you can sign one the first time you come to the pool – but it will make check-in faster if you do it before then.

REMINDER:  You (everyone in your family/household) will need your 2019 Pool ID card for entering the pool.  If you lost it, we will issue a new one during the open times listed below.

Pool ID’s and waivers can be done at the clubhouse during the following times: If coming in to sign the Waiver please bring everyone’s Pool ID so we can update them showing the Waiver is signed.

Thursday, June 25th – 4:00 – 5:30

Saturday, June 27th – 12:00 – 3:00

Sunday, June 28th – 12:00 – 3:00

If you are getting your Pool ID for the first time you must bring proof that you live in Acacia

-license with Acacia address

-school records for children

-State ID card with Acacia address

-closing papers

If you are a renter you must bring a copy of your lease or letter from owner stating your name and that you are renting the unit.

If you can’t make it any of these times please call the office to set up a time to meet with the Recreation Committee.
